VOLUNTEER: Spring Social Block Party 2027

Registration

• LEAD (1)
  Description: Will coordinate volunteers and tasks.
  -Manage supplies purchase within event budget: gin fizz ingredients, ice, beer, lemonade, taco stand. Organize music: volunteer band and/or playlist..
  
  Note:
  -Social Dir. will apply for Block Party permit, create flyer, handle marketing of event in newsletter, emails, coordinate with Neighborhood Watch
  -Membership Dir. will print flyer, manage distribution to neighborhood homes for recruiting new members, staff membership table at event.

  DO TASKS & BRING FOOD ITEM
  
  TASKS (before, during, after):
  
  -Set up: road signs, barricades, pop-ups, folding tables, sound system: move picnic tables (heavy lifting);
  -Decorate gate/grounds/clubhouse.
  -Set up/staff/monitor beverages: lemonade/water jugs, buy ice;
  -Set up/staff/monitor BAR (Bartenders): beer, Gin Fizz blenders/slushy machines
  
  -Set up/staff/monitor food: advance prep/deliver---(salads, desserts, taco trimmings)
  -order/pickup and deliver Costco cake
  -Assist where needed during event.
  
  -Clean up:
  -Take down & store: road signs, barricades, pop-ups, folding tables, sound system: move picnic tables (heavy lifting);
  -clean slushy machines, return décor to attic
  
  Volunteers will help with more than one task.
  (Lead will coordinate sign-ups for event)
